The Yeti SB150 is synonymous with dominant podium-level performance on the enduro circuit, so when we set out to create our exclusive SB150 GX build, we wanted to harness the power of those characteristics while ensuring that replacing parts throughout the season won't break the bank. We started with a TURQ series carbon frame which perfectly balances torsional stiffness and frame flex, delivering an ultra-responsive ride. 150mm of Fox Factory-supported Switch Infinity rear travel provides unreal amounts of rear wheel traction and small bump sensitivity. It also decouples from the chain forces from the suspension when we're lower in the bike's travel to absorb massive impacts along the track more efficiently. Yeti's engineers designed the geometry with a longer reach, slack 64. 5-degree head tube angle, forward-biased posture, and short chainstays so that we have tons of room to move around the bike and the confidence to tackle the steepest sections on course. These geometry features are also paired with a steep seat tube angle and short offset fork, allowing us to put more power through the pedals and keep our front wheel on the ground during the climbs. The Yeti SB150 GX Eagle Exclusive build starts with the ever-reliable 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain for high-performance shifting in dust, mud, snow, and more. The 10-52t cassette has a gear for any grade, so we can keep the pedals turning even on the transfers. We chose a 170mm Fox Factory 38 fork not only for its ability to smoothly soak up big hits but also to provide us tons of torsional stability up front, so we're not getting bucked off our line as we try to navigate gnarly rock gardens. The GRIP2 damper seems almost infinitely adjustable, letting us fully dial in our suspension to suit our riding needs or even track conditions on race day. A pair of durable 29-inch e*thirteen LG1 EN wheels to keep us rolling over anything we find on course and help dampen some of those fatigue-inducing trail vibrati...
