The Glaze is constructed from a mix of Garneau's Extenz 3L and Vertexx fabric, combining to provide weather-proofing where you need it and extra breathability where you don't. Extenz 3L is a three-layer knit with a polyurethane membrane and Durable Water Repellant (DWR) coating, making it windproof and waterproof to fend off the elements with the breathability to keep you from overheating when grinding up overpass climbs or slogging through thick gravel. Vertexx is a soft fabric with brushed backing that provides insulating warmth and further boosts the Glaze's breathability. Both materials feature four-way stretch for full freedom of motion and comfort in the saddle.That stretchiness allows Garneau's designers to give the Glaze a tailored fit that minimizes flapping fabric and excessive bunching while allowing space for layering underneath. A full-length zipper with an interior flap keeps wind from sneaking through when you're zipped up, while three angled rear pockets and a multimedia pocket stow essentials within easy reach.
